Shepherd Joins PIC Health Assurance Team
PIC is pleased to announce Dr. Gene Shepherd has joined PIC as a Health Assurance Veterinarian. Shepherd is a recent graduate of the Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
“We are excited to have Gene as part of the PIC Health Assurance Team,” says Mark Engle, Director of Health & Transport for PIC. “He’s a bright, enthusiastic veterinarian with great potential.
Gene’s responsibilities will include PIC health assurance activities and health services for PIC customer systems.
Gene grew up on a cow/calf operation in Siloam Springs, AR and received his undergraduate degree from Oklahoma State University and his DVM from Oklahoma State University. He is a member of the American Association of Swine Veterinarians and a member of Alpha Zeta Agricultural Honor Society.
